Rare and highly collectable antique Aynsley teacup signed by J.A. Bailey. The artist worked for Aynsley China between 1937 and 1974. This set is a turquoise blue on the exterior of the cup and on the saucer. Inside the cup is yellow in color with a stunning floral bouquet. The handle, foot, and the edges are fully covered in gold. The pink cabbage rose, red poppies, blue daisies and purple flowers are all hand-painted. The teacup got damaged when my curio cabinet got knocked over and a lot of personal collection got damaged. Trying to see if anyone will be interested in AS-IS hard to find items. It is still a wonderful display piece. It has a visible crack on the outside the cup but not from the inside. Small white specks on the saucer. This is sold online for $600 to $900. Tea cup is 3 1/2" in diameter and the saucer is 5 1/2" in diameter.
